When is CC gonna make a SALTWATER SERIES!?

I mean the big M has had it for what two years now, you think theres any efforts towards this. This is a huge market especially where I'm from(miami) where a majority of boat are in salt because there are no lakes. I would definantly have bought a salt water series on my new 210(coming in this week) even considering it will never see salt. They hold their value better as well.

RE: When is CC gonna make a SALTWATER SERIES!?

I definately think MC has that saltwater wakeboard market down pat. I was in the intracoastal in florida on a dive boat, and as we drove by all these huge yachts on lifts of these huge huge huge mansions, i saw one lift with a new black XStar on it and couldn't believe it.

It must cost a lot to have a saltwater series going, and I'm not sure CC feels its worth it. Also, considering the boats themselves, one of the things MC is that CC isn't it overly huge and obnoxiously big--they have been the leaders in bringing bigger boats into the wakeboarding industry. To us, we make fun of them b/c they're boats are rediculous, but the one advantage is they do fit well in the bay/ocean/intracoatal or wherever... maybe when CC makes more big boats, more 226/236 size boats, maybe then we'll see some more saltwater options....

this is being very cynicle, but worth saying... if the boats are made for saltwater, wouldn't that mean less service for the dealers? less profit? wonder what their opinions are...

They did have some saltwater series boats.

They even had bass boats and cabin cruisers at one time.

Right now the watersports market is being good to them, so why diversify too much.

Alos in the old factory, they were at capacity, now with the new factory, we might see some diversification since they have the ability to produce more boats.
