I would like to buy a ski nautique with a tower. I'd like to know which model was the original ski nautique hull with a tower and ballasts added? I'm guessing that around the year 2000 something like that exsited?
I might be corrected but I thought the only "tower" from the factory and with the TCW hulls was the 206 open bow.
TCW Hull?????? If you mean the TWC hull, that was only on the Pro Air Nautiques, which I believe were made 99-01 or 02.
They made an Air Nautique 196 in 2002 for sure (I don't know
about other years). I believe it was Fatboy on this forum who used to own one. He has posted photographs of it in the past. you can
also see a photograph in the 2002 brochure which is posted on correctcraftfan.com. BKH
TWC=Total Wake Control - Wakeboard wake
TSC=Total Surface Control - Slalom wake
As BKH noted, the TWC was available 99-01 or 02, Pro Air Nautiques generally had the TWC and Air Nautiques mostly had the TSC, both boats were based on the Sport Nautique.
03' was when the 206 & 216 were introduced, both boats where available as "Air Nautiques" but where no different if badged "Nautique", all where equiped with the TSC or TSC2 hulls until 06 when the TSC3 was introduced.
Check out www.CorrectCraftFan.com see the reference section which has many of the brochures available for the years noted.
Generally the newer the hull the better the wake, what will make a big difference in the slalom wake is the boat model, the 196 (Ski) being the bast wake followed by the 206 or Ski open bow (SNOB) then the sport with TSC hull. The 216 and Pro Airs will have the biggest slalom wake of all mentioned above. There are a few smaller boats CC manufactured in the late 90's early 00's, the ski tique, air tique and 176, don't see too many of them but I would imagine any of these would have a very good slalom wake.
