Hi all,
I'm primary a skier, but I like the cabin layout and easier resell of the v-drives, and do want to get better at wakeboarding.
So I'm looking for a v-drive with the best wakes for skiing, and want to stick with a Correct Craft (ideally), MasterCraft, or Malibu.
I heard/ read that the new Nautique 211 does a great job; its slalom wake is only a bit worse than a direct-drive 216.
I've also heard that the MasterCraft 205V/X-2 has a pretty decent slalom wake, and know that the X-2 is a tournament-level wakeboarding boat.
Any advice/ info on the 211 vs 205V or other cross-over v-drives much appreciated.
BTW, FatBoy posted some great pics of slalom and boarding wakes behind his 211 in a thread titled "MY NEW SV-211".
