I decided to redo my pumps and make a custom carpet kit during the winter months.

My pump system now has 3 simer reversible pumps, one for starboard/port and bow. I tapped into the inlet pre-helm control valves for filling and emptying. To fill, I close of the stock fill valves and I now supply water to the extra fat sacs. The other end of the fat sacs are "t" into the overflow with check valves. I then wired up some switches up front and made a couple of boxes with relays for forward/reverse on the pumps.

2nd project was a custom carpet kit. Picked up some 40oz carpeting and cut it to shape and had the edges bound. It tucks under the rear seat, side cooler and kick panel. It'll save my carpet from the kid's spilled juice/cracker crumbs etc. Last one lasted 3 years and the carpet underneath still looks new.

Rick, I bought the carpet from this outfit. The only unfortunate part is that it's not an exact color match but, with it being 40oz, it's real cushy under your feet. I really don't care that much about color match so, much so as protecting the factory carpet. If and when I decide to sell the boat, it'll be perfect underneatch

Mike-d, I've been asked before and I wish I had time to make the "factory" starboard seat. It houses 2-10" subs. There has been many discussions on the very subject.

I just had to give you props on the seat, I had to ask, I am sure everyone would buy a factory looking starboard seat if they were made available.

the simmers are the best, been running my 1000pd skil locker bag with one for the last three years, never failed me, just had to replace the impeller this past dec.

Yep, Wakejunky's seat inspired me to build one for my 210 a couple of years ago. It is certainly a good addition to the boat. I don't understand why it isn't there from the factory.

It's semi automatic in that it's all done at the helm. Fill until the sac spill out the side and then empty out back the fill line. Much better than the last setup.

did you run relays to run all your simmers? I know they put out alot of amps per pump. if so, how did you wire them with the relays, to reverse the pumps on the dpdt switches?

I did run relays for all my simers. The other box is way hidden behind panels and such that I'm not able to get pictures. It has 6 relays for the two rear pumps. The box in the picture above is only for the pump you see and it only has 3 relays inside with wiring. The power wire is fused by the battery since that is the safest means of protecting the wiring. The relay circuit is one that is floating around WW, it's a 3 relay/simer pump setup. Activate one way and provide +,- power for one direction and activate the other way and provide -,+ power.

I would love to have an added bag system like this in my boat...To bad I have no mechanical ability...It is such a pain to load up the sacks each time I want to use them...

Anyone know if anybody that does Installs like this in socal?
