NDT or MonsterTower for 94 Sport

I've been looking at towers for a while now. I have a 94 Sport Nautique. I have always favored the black Monster, cause of the price. Then I saw a lot of posts about the NDT. What are your opinions on the NDT quality vs Monster? I'm guessing I'd save about a grand if I got a Monster with racks vs a NDT with racks.

The New Dimensions towers just are so aesthetically pleasing on Correct Crafts - but now I know they make a few different models. Do you have a photo or link to the one you were considering? If it is the exact FCT knock-off then I would say thats the way to go. The Skylon Swoop classic also compliments the lines of a Sport Nautique quite well.

Here's what they have for the 93-97 Sport: http://www.newdimensiontowers.com/ga...997_Sport.html
That's the one I would get. It's just going to be hard to spend the extra $1000 more than the Monster.

I think the extra $1000 would be well worth it. You already spent the money to get a Correct Craft. Spend the money to get the right tower on it.

Good point. I'll just hold off a little to get the tower. Anyone know of any NDT discounts? I've seen some sales and boat show sales from them.

That's a really good point about putting the best, on the best. The boat will look awesome with the New Dimensions' geometry. The Monster... mmm... not so much.

IIRC, NDT has a winter 10% off sale.

                mf01,

I had a buddy going through the same dilemma as yourself a few years ago. He actually opted for the monster tower and now he is truly regretting his decision. You're right, the monster tower is good quality, inexpensive, and it does the job well.

However, it looks like an after thought on the boat whereas the New Dimension Tower looks like it came from CC factory. In my humble opinion, wait a few months and save the extra $ for the NDT and you will be so happy with your decision.

                my two cents....

Is it still going on? I thought it ended in January.

Sorry, thats why i called it a winter sale.
If you dont want to wait that long...
keep your eyes peeled for people selling them here on PN, call around to CC dealers that may have damaged stock, wakeworld, ebay, craigs list...

Ive got a NDT on my 97 SS and couldnt be happier. Perfect fit, EASY installation and Wayne and his crew are GREAT to deal with. Plus as already stated, it looks factory. Well worth the money.

Had ours put on last year, and the qaulity of the ndt is very good. I would rather spend the extra money and get a tower that looks good. As for the discounts wayne has a winter sale every year, last year it wa 10% and I think this year it was 15%. If you ask for a bare tower you can save 100-200 dollars.

Spend the money drifter, after this season you won't even miss the extra grand, but you'll still have the better tower.

                            Looking good drifter.

I'll end up getting the NDT. Another question for anyone with an NDT and Sport Nautique: Does it fit under a standard garage door when folded?
