It fits under my garage. I can measure the height but I think it is "standard". I also use a PCV tube across the bow rub rails to support the tower when it is down.

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: NDT or MonsterTower for 94 Sport

Should without a problem. As I said, Ive got a SS, the tower folded is not much above the winshield. I replaced my Ramlin trailer with an Aluminum which made the boat sit about 4" - 6" higher than before and still have no problem clearing a standard door. If your in doubt, give Wayne at NDT a shout and ask him what the highest point of the tower is off the deck. Or somone on here with a sport can answer that for you. Should be the same as mine but just incase. Then back your boat into the garage and measure her up... just to be sure.

Well its done. I talked to the NDT salesman and told them I was comparison shopping between them and Monster. The salesman cut me a little slack (before their busy season) and I will have a new NDT in 3 weeks. I ordered it powder-coated black with 2 - NDT Wakeboard racks and the nav light on top. It came out to about $800 more than the Monster. I feel like I have the top boat manufacturer, so I didn't want to short change it with a so-so tower. I think I will be a lot happier with the looks of this tower.

I've got lights on my tower. I wouldn't spend the money on them again. I just don't find them very effective. FWIW. BKH

I ordered the Nav light, so I don't have to pull out the pole at dusk. It wasn't much compared to the overall price, only $50.

That was a good decision. I believe some states are now requiring the nav light on the highest point on the boat.

I think what BKH was referring to were the not nav light lights...light bar maybe... whatever you want to call them.

You'll be 200% satisfied with the tower for sure!

You're right, I was referring to a light bar, not nav lights. My mistake.

I have a height question for those with the NDT. I think my boat may sit a little higher than factory, due to the trailer. The original owner (I'm the 2nd) purchase a galvanized trailer, which I think is a little taller than the factory. I measured the windshield height at 77" (6'5"). How many inches does the NDT add folded down? I'm hoping that it is less than 7", as the garage is around 84" (7'). Thanks.
