I have an old house with a small garage opening that I could store my 2004 SV211 for the winter by taking off the tower. Now I have 07 SAN 210 and don't fancy taking off the tower for winter storage. So where do people store their boats; carports, garages, pay for storage, etc? I am considering building a carport like in one of the previous posts. thanks.

Keep mine at my parents house, outside... Im newly wed and my wife and I currently rent a condo in which "NO BOATS ON PREMESIS" applies. I live 15 minutes from where I ride. My parents live 30 minutes in the opposite direction. SUX!!! I have 2 hrs invested in towing there and back, to ride in a spot I can get to in 15 minutes or less. Its all worth it though. But I do dream of that huge garage...
PS my wife keeps sayin if we (I) didnt have the boat, we would have a house with a garage. My comment, "THEN WE HAVE NO NAUTIQUE TO PUT IN IT".Past: 82 2001
Present: 97 Super Sport / SAN

Tiqueman, I was in the same situation. When I moved down here to go to school I didn't have a place to put the boat. A friend from church let me keep it in his shed since he just moved out of town, but was keeping the house. Unfortunately, the lake is 20 minutes from here but the shed was 40 minutes the other direction one way... *sigh*... It was a blessing and a curse when the guy finally decided to sell the house.
Now the boat is staying in a parking lot behind the security office on campus. The school gave me one semester to keep it here but I have to find somewhere for it this summer sometime. I'll probably rent a storage place.2018 SAN 230

I have stored my boats in variuos locations over the years.
I stored my '94 Ski Nautique in my garage.
My '03 SANTE was stored at the lake for a year in a boatel. That was nice because it was stored indoors, but if you called the marina, it was in the water and ready to go when we arrived. The downside was that we could only access it when they were open, and we couldn't get to it at all between November and April!
For the past couple of years we have kept the 210 in a large RV storage unit that is climate-controlled. It really is a great place to store a boat. The only thing better would be a garage like this at home (or a boat house with a lift).
I own and operate Silver Cove Marine, which is an inboard boat restoration, service, and sales facility located in Mooresville, North Carolina. We specializes in Nautiques and Correct Crafts, and also provide general service for Nautiques fifteen years old and older.
If we can be of service to you, please contact us anytime!

Wow, climate controled boat storage.
I keep mine in a RV storage place near the lake. Saves us money in fuel to get to the lake, and after we get done boating we are free to go anywhere to get a bit to eat without worring if the truck and boat will fit in the parking lot. The only thing better would be if we could leave the truck there and take the car from the house to the storage facility to save even more on fuel. Cost for the stall is like $60 a month which is half the cost of the storage near the house we were using.

I've got all my stuff squezzed in a garage and like pez all the cars out in the drive, everyone that don't have a boat looks at me like I'm crazy when they ask were the cars are and I tell them, but I wouldn't think of leaving them outside.... Yeah i know the floor is a mess, it was winter....

Having a 14' x 28' garage built with my house just for the boat. I've never stored outside. Just saw that as too much risk/wear. Until the house is complete it's in enclosed storage at a local dealer 2 minutes from where we ride.Current Boat => 2007 SAN 220 TE
Last Boat => 2000 SAN
