It sits right here, 365 days a year. I have no trailer.

Anybody have a ballpark estimate as to how much a dock setup like this would cost for materials (without the floating platform)? Or material costs on a similar design? I want to do an all wood with pilings setup (with roof) on a single slip dock for an 07' 210 Team Edition.

    Thanks!

I have about $10,000 in mine, $7000 of which is material and includes the lift. I did all the work myself with the exception of driving the poles, which I paid $200 per pole to have them driven ($200 x 15 =$3000.) Those poles are 24 feet long, no way I could have done that.

Since mine is a two slip boat house, I would think you could do the one above for slightly less.

I used to build them and can give you a ball park. The deck and pilings will cost you 10-12 per square foot of surface area. The deck cover that includes the post, framing, and roof is about 15 per foot. Electrical can be anywhere from a 1000 to 3000 depending on how many plugs and how far away the main power source is. Lift is about 2000 with parts and labor.

All of that is pretty standard stuff. You can go as exotic as your munipality will let you. My inlaws have a neighbor with 3000sf stucco boat house on a concrete slab that was about 750,000 to build. Pretty crazy but its unbelievable on the inside. Has a slate roof and the house is computer driven.

I was quoted $35,000 for someon e to build what I did. A lot of markup on these things built over water.

Got tired of dragging the tub 3.5hrs to the lake each weekend, so I bit the bullet and built this shed. Can drive the truck & boat all the way in without unhooking . Now all I need is for the new tub to arrive...

My in-laws congratulated me after seeing it - they said they had no idea I was buying an airplane... the Evo looks like a tonka toy inside it. Hope the boat fills her up a bit better...

Rustic, but it does the job and I don't have to tow the boat.

I'm will most likely have to store my SV-211 outisde this winter. I have an empty stall in my 3 car garage, but my trailer does not fold. I still plan to rearrange the garage and try backing in at an angle. The boat came with a cheap water resistant cover that does a pretty good job of keeping the rain out. I think the rain makes it in around the tower openings. Once the water gets it, the cover prevents the moisture from escaping and I worry about mold/mildew. I had a Attwood cover on my Triton and did not have any problems with mold/mildew. It was stored outside year round. Does anyone have an opinion on the best cover for a Nautique?

If you can get some sort of roof over the boat, with its cover on, it will stay a lot drier. My boat lives in an open carport, with its cover on.
