    Sticker Adhesive

OK, I seem to be very challenged when it comes to bubble stickers staying on my boat. I clean the crap out of the area on rear side where the Air Nautique bubble letters are, first with Goo Gone, then straight alcohol before putting the stickers on. I constantly have stickers falling off and getting lost. I get more, put them off and find them hanging half-way off a few days later. I don't know if it's the way the water flows when I have my boat weighted or not. Anyway, on to the question. I have several letters that I need to re-adhere to the boat. The original adhesive on them is gone, but the letters themselves are still fine. What type of adhesive should I use?

    Thanks,

    Chad

You may not be removing the wax residue on the boat. There are several products available that you should be able to get from a local vinyl graphics shop or automotive paint suppliers that are made to remove wax and grease prior to installing graphics. If you can't find it locally, you can get RAPID-PREP from Florida Graphics Supply www.fgsi.com 800-582-0049. A qt. costs $7.70 plus shipping, and they ship the next business day.
I've used it to apply all my new vinyl graphics. It smells like dry erase marker remover.
