Hello, I stopped at our local dealer, looked at the 2007 crossover 211. It seems like a great boat for us, we're all not good at skiing or wakeboarding, I used to be but haven't ski'd in years, and our kids are 8 and 12 and will be getting better for the next 10 years. We want a boat to grow into and be a good day cruiser too. The layout of the crossover without the mid engine hump seems nice and open, with nice sunpad and roomy open bow. Seems you can get a bimini top as well for some shade when cruising or sand bar napping, but with the waketower I guess I'll have to see one to understand how it fits over the tower. My thoughts are how much better is the 375hp engine versus the 330hp? Wonder if the bigger engine is a lot faster or with reproping the smaller motor it should be more than a non competitive family needs.. But on some of these tennessee lakes that go for miles it might be nice to hammer down the 375hp and just fly!
Also, some of the older (2001-2002) 21 foot-ish boats have a "shower" what is that? Just a hose from the engine that heats water to rinse yourself off with? Part of me is also looking for a skiable boat with a sink/portajohn/pop up changing room, for better lengthening the stay on the water, but haven't yet found a boat to capture all these areas. Do any of the larger older versions have sinks, etc? I can't figure out how to find older brochures either, thanks!
