    btw, when weighing the 211 for surf you have to cover the air intake vent and the fuel vent (this is really important..)

    i ran both my air intake hoses to the port side (i run my boat goofy all the time) and sealed up that the starboard side intake valve. Also added another bilge pump in the engine compartment (the factory had it installed on the port side !!!!!)

        Clubmyke, that is interesting. Makes sense, even though I would not have thought about it until after the ugly consequences. What do you seal with? Is it permanent or can you just stick a Pinot Noir cork in it?

          you only have to the gas vent when surfing the regular side..

          covering the airvent is really, really, really (3x) important...you will take in water in the engine compartment or air intake or both..
