Anyone that has attended the masters - any advise ? Can you get a good view of the slalom competitions without buying a ticket to the pavilon ? What about watching the wakeboarding, can you get a good view, sounds like from a beach area ?

mcbridek...The masters is a must see from the pavilon!! My wife and I have attended the last 4 years and what a way to start the season out! Because we are NOT wake board fans we normally hang out on the beach durring those events. Bring lots of Money, there will be lots of goodies to purchase! -

There is quite a bit to be said for having pavilion tickets. You get to stay out of the sun (or rain!), you are right in front of the slalom course, and the wakeboarding double-ups are right in your face. Also, with a pavilion pass, you can still go to the beach if you want to. If you sit on the right side of the pavilion, you might even be in the live webcast that we're providing again this year.

I agree with both of the above. It's the best place to see your favorite event, but those bleacher seats get awfully hard after awhile, so I suggest ALSO finding a spot in the grassy area or the beach area. You can go there between events, or if you just want to strech out a little and get some sun. Plus you need a place to set your cooler down (if you bring one). I don't think they alow them in the pavilion. See you there :grin:Tomfooter

Yes, they do. I am not sure about Masterline specifically, but there is a pretty good showing from a number of vendors.
Another interesting point about this year's Masters is that they are only using two boats:
196 for slalom, trick, and jump
and...
no, not the new 210...
no, not the 220...
236 for all wakeboarding events, women and men, Masters and Junior Masters
I find that interesting. I think the 236 needs to be renamed to Super Air, and should lose the crossover designation.
