    Looking for some Surf info

I ride left foot forward and I've heard you typically want to ride with your toes pointed toward the wake when surfing. Does this really matter that much? If it's much easier to get a surf wake on the starboard side for my Nautique should I just ride switch (or try to haha) when surfing? I have my first surfboard on the way right now...thought it might be good to know these things before attempting to develop our surf wake and technique. Thanks!

Def easier facing the wake with your toe side. But I have friends who ride left foot forward on the starboard side with absolutely no problem so.... Good luck!

Thanks! According to FedEx our Surfer is on truck for delivery today! I can't wait to try it this weekend. Need to make some calls to arrange some friend-ballast since we don't have enough water ballast haha.

My wife ordered me an early bday present. She ordered me a CWB Ride surfer from buywake. I haven't ridden this model but I think it should work well for us as we learn.

Tried it out yesterday and it went well. Despite having very little ballast in our 98 Air (only have stock hard tank) at the end of the day we added some more friends we met on the lake, and that was the best surf wake I've ever ridden I believe. And that was on the left side since I ride left foot forward. It was massive, I was quite surprised by it! Had a great shape, very clean. Anyway just wanted to share!
