Im trying to figure out my depth finder on my san because it blinks P XX and XX 5 i was reading in the manual that my pitot sensors are probably blocked, where are these sensors and how do I clean them out?
thanks, mike
You're describing issues with the speedometer, not the depth finder. The error you're seeing means that one of the pitot tubes is blocked. The speedometer is still getting a reading from the pitot that isn't clogged. The 5 you're seeing isn't a 5, it is an S. When you see P XX, the port tube is clogged, when you see XX S, the starboard tube is clogged.
