I am new to the sport of wakeboarding and i am looking at getting a boat and i have been noticing that the v drive boats do seem to be the most desirable. I was wondering why in the first place other then they have the best wake but what makes them have the best wake? Is it because the engine is in the back, the bottom design of the boat, or just because you can put a bunch of weight in the back of the boat without loosing seating space? I am looking at a 90 ski nautique excel and i was wondering if anyone had any imput?? thank you for you help guys and gals!
