How should i load my 07 210 for wakesurfing?

    Hi!

So, we just got our new 210 and we absolutely love it! Now we just bought a wakesurfer and started some experiments to find the perfect wake.

So we filled the factory ballast, added about 250 pound ballast on top of the port side ballast tank and put in 10 people (all on the port side).

so the wake was HUGE!!!!! It was about as high as my a**!

The problem is that we always have to put the throttle completely down to reach about 10 mp/h. And we got the ZR6 engine. This cant be good for the engine!!
And after all we got water running into the boat where the fumes from the blower come out!!

Please give me any hints on loading my boat!
And excuse my bad english. i´m form austria (europe)

    Thanks!!!

RE: How should i load my 07 210 for wakesurfing?

When we surfed yesterday we had 5 people and normal ballast (port empty) and the wake was real nice. As far as giving it gas.... I just told my buddy yesterday how easy it was to get this boat (ZR6) out of the hole compared to my VLX. I just give it easy throttle and absolutely no problem. As far as finding the perfect wake always remember to stick 1-2 people in the front of the boat as well cause it will make your wake longer, which means you can ride it further back. Did you have everyone in the back of the boat?

*Update* Surfed yeasterday with 8 people in the boat and only had to put the throttle down about 2-3 inches to hit wakesurfing speed. There should be no way you should have to put the throttle all the way down.

        Thank you´for your answer!

Yes, we had 3 people sitting on the port side of the bow.

I will try your settings next time on the water. Today the boat had to go to its first service.
They found that the prop is damaged. After 45 hours!!!
Maybe that was the causes the problems with the speed.

I have a 2007 210 and ride left foot forward. My plan was to fill the Port tank and ride on the port side and leave starboard empty. Is this wrong?

I noticed that surfing on the starboard side makes for a cleaner surf wake. Port side surfing works but the wave was all wash! Port side empty worked much better for me!

                Thanks for all the tips!

I´m just coming home from a day out on the boat. As you told me, empty starboard tank and 5 people on the port side!
This setup worked pretty fine at about 9.5 to 10.5 mp/h!

Next time i will try the starboard wake!!

                Thanks!
