Securing your CC to the trailer?

Does anyone have a secondary device to secure the boat to the trailer and if so, what do you use? I haul my boat 6 hours north to ski sometimes and I notice it bounces quite a bit due to road conditions. My father in law has a ghetto secondary device he made but what about securing the stern? Strange I know but I can just see my boat in the middle of the highway.

    Thanks

I bought a pair of tie-down straps and attach them to the hooks on the back of my (Ramlin) trailer and the swim platform mounts. It works pretty well.

I either use the hooks or have a strap that goes over the gunnels

In the rear I use a pair of these tie down straps, goes from the swim platform bracket to the trailer eye hook, and it definitely helps.

          hope this helps...

Thanks gentlemen, I thought that the swim platform brackets were about my only option. I'll give it a try.
