I just got a 07 210 and am having trouble getting the shape of the wake that I need. The wake is tall enough but it just doesn't seem to have that pop. I have been expirementing with the weight moving it around in the boat. I am running fatory ballast plus 1000 lbs. of lead. Any input would be a great help. I am running 22.2 mph at 70 ft. Thanks :???:

RE: How should I weight my 07 210 for boarding
I run factory ballast and 4 people and dont have any problem with one side of the wake, I really havent experimented to get to clean sides. Im a one side jumper anyways.
Is it a clean lip? How deep is the water your in?

RE: How should I weight my 07 210 for boarding
Water is over 10ft deep so that shouldn't be the issue. The wake just doesn't seem to be near as steep as the old 210.Current: 08 Super Air 210 Team

Because old 210 and new 210 is different hull. Nort as rampy but will still throw you up real high. Im in 5-7 ft of water all the time and have no problems what so ever.

Where do you run the Wake Control System? I usually have it all the way back, but I've been messing around with it on 2. I get a pretty clean and rampy wake with factory ballast and a handfull of folks as long as the balance is good. I can't compare it with the 06 210 though.

RE: How should I weight my 07 210 for boarding
Hi everyone
I've been riding the 07 210 here in sunny england. We find that the new 210 doesn't need any weight at the front of the boat but likes the majority of the weight at the rear. This does make the wake a bit steaper! I don't think it will ever be as rampy as the old 210, but getting rid of the trough and having a longer transition really helps with consistancy!

RE: How should I weight my 07 210 for boarding
edmiesta,
I seem to have trouble getting the boat to plane when I run alot of weight in just the rear lockers. How much weight are you running and is it all in the lockers or are you putting some under the seat storage by the batteries. I do agree that putting weight up in the nose hurts the wake though. I 'm think I might trade it on a 220. 220 wake is steeper than the 210.Current: 08 Super Air 210 Team

07 210 wake
I have a 2007 210 and I pull INT events with it and I have 300 pounds of lead 200 under the seats on starboard side (1) 50 plate in front of the battery and (1) behind the battery right where the storage compartment starts to ramp up on the far outside of the boat, and same for the otherside and then I have 100 pounds up front 50 on each side and then fill the factory ballest and have not had any complaints about the wake, as a matter of fact every body has really braged about how they like it, had one rider to say that after he exocuted his trick he was stiil way up in the air and had time to bring another 180 into his trick.

RE: 07 210 wake
I'm getting close to getting mine figured out. Last weekend we rode with 300#'s up front and about 200 on either side of the engine in back plus factory. Wake was clean to 90 feet, no trouf before the wake, nice and rampy. I ride at 25mph, probably faster than most and 85 feet. I think by the end of summer I'll be at 90 feet. The wake is wider than the old 210 but without the dip before the wake, does help consistancy. Had a 220 last year and like the new 210 much better.Lively Up Yourself, And Don\'t Be No Drag

RE: 07 210 wake
What are most peoples impressions on the 2007 210 vs the 2006? No trough but not as big a ramp. Is it worth upgrading? How about the surf between the two boats- anyone totally loaded up the 2007 model with 2000lb of weight or people and gone surfing on both sides? How is the 210 for overall docking, driving- rough water and lots of people compared to the 220?

RE: 07 210 wake
The 210 backs to the right. After about 10 nautiques, I'm still struggling with this, but I'll get used to it. The new 210 rides better in rough water than the old 210, that said the 220 is even better in rough water. I have not got the surf wake on the new 210 dialed in, but the surf wake on the 220 is awesome. Have not tried the 236 yet though. If someone has suggestions on how to weight a new 210 I'm all ears.Lively Up Yourself, And Don\'t Be No Drag

RE: 07 210 wake
I have my 2007 210 pretty dialed. I'm running 400 lbs. of pop-products bags in the bow under the seat cushions, two custom Fly High sacs in the rear at 325 lbs a peice, plus factory ballast. Almost 2,000 lbs. total.
With 5-6 people in the boat and the hydrogate all the way back the wake is HUGE at 22.5 - 24 mph. Line lengths from 70 to 85 ft. Nice vertical ramp, clean, and very firm. I had the old 210 and prefer the new hull wake over the old.

lots in the front
I ride with 2 fly high v drive sacks on both sides of the engine, and an integrated bow sack all plumbed into my stock ballast with a fly high system. On top of that I usually run about 400 in the bow also because without it the boat has trouble not bouncing and getting on a plane. I love my wake, I say its like the xstar but not as long, similar shape, I love it.
