    Trailer

I'm looking for a trailer to fit a 1993 SN. One that's actually meant for tournament boats. The trailer it's sitting on does not fit the boat. I have to hand crank the boat on and the trailer does not have a prop guard.

Looking for a good used trailer in the north western US. Dakotas and west and maybe a little south of there. Or Western Canada.

    Thanks!

    RE: Trailer

Call Ken at Matrix Marine in LeDuc Alberta.
He had made up all the jigs to make a trailer that is similar to a Ram-Lin/Correct Craft trailer.

I had an estimate for a single axle galvanized, ready for brakes, and it was $3800.00
A new DHM is about $5K.

I have a 92 Correct Craft trailer, but it is rotting at the front of the frame. Its easier to find a used boat and switch trailers and sell it, then it is to find a good used trailer.

      RE: Trailer

I tried Ken and no such luck. He's out of the trailer biz and is not in contact with his old manufacturer anymore it seems. How long ago did you talk to Ken about the trailer?

Good idea with the boat swap. I might have to do that in the end as it's turning out impossible to find a good trailer. Thanks!

        RE: Trailer

how bad is your trailer? I have a friend who has a machine shop/metal works place that would weld and retube the rotted part for me. I'd be interested in buying it if it's not too out of control. can you email pictures?
