And no its not my boat. Thank god. Guess you can worry a lil less about hitting rocks while you have your boat in the water with these guys on the road!

RE: Had to share this picture with all of you
Originally posted by SchnitzI hope your day was better than mine was. On the way to the lake today, I got T-BONED inside Okeeheelee Park by an unlicensed, illegal alien learning how to drive. I swerved but it was too late. She plowed through the intersection, oblivious to the STOP sign she had just gone through. For an instant, I thought she stopped. I though we avoided the collision but then came the crash as the front of her SUV caught the rear panel of our truck. The impact spun the SUV sideways. And as the SUV spun, she came in contact with the boat and trailer. This impact snapped the tie down strap on the front of the trailer. It ripped off the left rear upright as the boat went airborne clear across the road and came to rest on the lower bars of a park fence. The upper bars, snapped in two.
She was a great boat. She's pulled Rossi, Parrish, and Rodgers to name just a few. She's pulled hundreds if not thousands of 39's and quite a few 41's. She's been a great companion over the years. And in an instant, she's been hauled away, dragged up the flatbed on her bottom. Her rudder snapped off, fins bent, prop destroyed. She's off to the wrecking yard where most likely she'll be pillaged by thieves and ravaged by the weather. Now come the fights with all three insurance companies. The good part; no blood was shed. Can you imagine if someone was walking, running, roller blading, or riding a bike in the path of the flying boat here inside Okeeheelee Park? It could have been very ugly. Thank GOD, it was not.I own and operate Silver Cove Marine, which is an inboard boat restoration, service, and sales facility located in Mooresville, North Carolina.
