RE: sport or super sport?
Obviously you will get a better wake with the super sport. There is more storage space in Super Sport. I recently bought a 97 Super Sport and it is a nice boat. Where are you located and how much you willing to spend? If you don\'t do it today, you will be one day older when you do!!

I would say it is easier to get a bigger wake with the SSN. You will pay more for the SSN. You will get better resale with the SSN. You may not be able to get a SSN with low hours in your price range. Guess it depends on how far you are willing to go for the right boat. You can get a really nice wake with the SN if you want to as well.

RE: Re: RE: sport or super sport?
I purchased a '00 Super Sport in November last year with only 34 hours on the motor. Paid $26m for this beauty. My initial preference was the Sport because the engine is in the center of the boat (better ski wake) but my wife prevailed with her interest in a family boat that seats quite a few people in comfort. In all honesty, this is one terrific boat and the v-drive really adds a ton of space, both in seating and in storage.
I discovered early on that the gas tank is in the middle of the boat and if I keep the tank completely full before a slalom run, the wake is terrific. Bought a boom early in the season and have been teaching kids to skil all summer long. There's a great deal to like about this boat. Since the wake is supposedly quite large at lower speeds -- we don't wakeboard -- I have heard that this boat is in high demand for the wakeboard crowd, which might boost resale for some time. That being said, I'm not selling mine anytime soon... Good luck.2000 Nautique Super Sport GT-40
