Swim platform-is there an easier way to get back in the boat

We recently upgraded to an Air Nautique which has a very nice, large swim platform which rests right on the water. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not as young and/or strong as I used to be, but I'm finding it painfully embarassing to get back into the boat after a swim. Previous boats we've owned have always had a 3 or 4 step ladder built in, but with no ladder on the Nautique, I'm feeling like a beached whale every time I struggle to get back out of the water and into the boat

Can anyone make any suggestions? Is there an add-on ladder or a temporary step that can be used?

You could look at ladders from Garelick Mfg., or Windline .

The Windline unit is an under-the-platform model, and is out of sight until it is required.

Keep an old handle in the boat, tie a loop at the appropriate length, hook it on the rear tow point, toss it over the back of the platform, use the handle as a step to help you get in the boat. Use a wakeboard handle with a wrap T if you need more help.

Thank you both for great suggestions. I'm not the only one among our friends who is struggling with this. We'll try the suggested quick fix of an old handle and upgrade to an "under platform" mounted ladder if the handle proves too awkward. Hoping to make this boat one that the entire family is thrilled with, not just the kids riding behind it on the skis and wakeboards!
