    whats it worth?93-96 sports

well i have finally found a few sports worth looking at,but they seem a little high in price(all have between 300-500 hrs).i've found a 93 sport for 17k and a 96 for almost 20k.it seems like all the reasonably priced ones are on the other side of the country.should i suck it up and pay top dollar and enjoy whats left of the season,or be patient that the right deal will come along.maybe the west coast prices will migrate to the east coast before fall.thanks

Patience Grasshopper! I jumped a little soon and lot's of boats appeared a week later! Get what you want, not what you are settling for!
If you don\'t do it today, you will be one day older when you do!!

Be patient. The prices you are quoting seem about $1500-2000 high. I have a 93 Sport and love it. Spent a week at Powell with my boat and my buddy had an 05 211 and the difference was not significant enough for me to even consider spending the dough. I bought my 93 Sport in 1997 for $17,500 with 200 hours. It now has 525 and I am certain the value has only dropped by $3k in all that time. Great all around boats that hold their value amazingly well. Good luck.

        cmd,
I would make lots of calls, talk to the owners, ask motivation, time on mkt, condition, ask about the trailer, stereo, PP, are they including pfd's and all the extras, a FCT could eaisly be over $2000 plus $600-$800 bimini, tower speaks, racks...the extras can make that $2000 difference quick. ....lots of people like to put some negotiation room in their price. With buying and selling its a numbers game, the more sellers you talk to the better you will know the market the better you will know the right deal when you see it. I like to talk to people that just sold their boat and find out the price they sold v. the price they advertised. 300-500 hours is fairly low hours for a 93-97. Good Luck
