    my keypad is having probles

    i have a 2000 air with keyless ignition. and a motorized moter lift. when i try and close my motor hatch the boat tries to start. can anyone help thanks..

    Check your battery Low voltage does really weird things If the battery is fully charged check the ground wire by jumpering a ground wire from the battery to the ground on the hatch cover motor. I would guess it's a the low or bad battery.

        i've tried a direct ground it still does the same thing have you ever heard of the keypad going bad

          I've had the same problem. When closing the engine hatch the engine would start (sometimes). We had to replace the keypad and the problem was over ($300-400). When opening the old keypad you could see everything was corroded.
          230 with ZR6 running on propane
