    What is this gauge?

I have not been feeling well recently, so I have had extra time in bed to surf the web, and I noticed a lot of Nautiques of about my boat's age have this gauge mine does not have.

The first photo photo is Grant's boat (whitechocolate).

The second photo is also off of iboats.com and is also a san, but it has this gauge on the side panel.

The third is off iboats.com and is a SAN with the python engine.

Cool, the next question is what brand is it, and where were the sensors mounted?

Does it tie into the perfectpass water temp sensor.

Most of them are hummingbird. The sensor can be tied into a seperate mount on the back or else they have a puck that is glued in the bilge. I am not sure if they can be tied into the paddle wheel now. I know that is how it is done for the 2003 and newer digital guages though.

Has anyone figured out where the sensor is located for water temp? I would assume that air temp is just on the back of the gauge.

On the boats with a paddle wheel, that is where the sensor is tied into. Otherwise, I think it is tapped into the main intake line.

The water temperature sensor on my boat is located on the transom just inside the starboard speedometer pickup. It came from the factory mounted there.

On the hummingbird air water temp gauge the water pickup was normally mounted off the back of the boat like gotpwr is mounted. Normally I copy what the factory did on how they mounted the accessories.

I think the gauge for my Air temp is behind the dash, The pick up for the water temp is located ?????? I have no Idea. The back of my boat is basically blank. I would guess its intergrated into somthng like the bilgde or the paddle wheel. Because I cant see anything extra. One thing I do notice is that when the boat has stoped on the water, The gauge reads about 20-degrees higher thant the water realy is. Its like the warm water from the motor leek's out into the water and the pick up reads it once you get underway it reads a normal temp. The Air temps sometimes is a bit high also. It would be nice to have a Air and Temp gauge that s dead accuratte
