Is it ok to fill and/or drain ballast on a 2006 210 while moving at wakeboard speed?

RE: Ballast while moving
It fills and drains through the bottom of the hull because there is only one pump that is reversible for each tank.
A guy at my dealer told me not to fill while at speed because it could cause air to get into the pump and it would need to be primed, but I don't buy it. I've filled and drained at wakeboard speed several times without issue. This is on a 2007 210.
That same guy didn't know that the pumps shut off automatically... He said "be careful not to burn up the pumps by accidentally leaving them running"

Its ok to fill at speed, in fact it will be forced in quicker through the pickup so the pumps should run with less resistance. I have an 05 211 TE, but I also run a Jabsco Ballast puppy to fill the additional sacs. The ballast puppy has crazy power to draw water from a distance so the bubbles in the line thing is bull. To test it take off a hose and put your finger over the side it is drawing from to see what i mean.-Jon
