    billet interior aftermarket pieces?

So question guys would anybody here be intersted in custom billet accents for there boats? guage pods, shifters, etc?

I have a really good friend that owns a machine shop and makes trick aftermarket ATV parts and was thinking about sending some of my stuff to him to see what he could make in billet alum. I can get stuff plated, anodized. etc. just curios if any nautique owners are into that level of customizing?

Zero, perhaps quite negative interest here from me. But I am extremely conservative about stuff like this on Correct Crafts. I would say let's leave the chrome billet nonsense to the Master Craft set. And I don't mean for that to be derogatory. MasterCraft has set the tone for this with the current X-Star.

It screams "--> put more billet here <--" on just about every piece of fascia.

Correct Craft on the other hand, doesn't scream that to me.

    Just my opinion.

No disrespect detected whatsoever! And you shouldn't apologize man. And especially not to me!

That was just my opinion. But I do think many CC owners and enthusiasts tend to be more conservative in general about things like that - and how they add accessories and - this word pains me at this point to even type out - but to add "bling" to their boats. God I hate that term.

But MasterCraft clearly welcomes "b***g" with a lot of what is seen on the X-Star. Malibu gently beckons it too but more subtly. Correct Craft kind of gives "b***g" the cold shoulder.

This site is definitely more conservative...I personally am the complete opposite...I think the Mastercraft/X-star kills the Nautiques on looks. As someone always said...Opinions are like A-holes...Everyone has one..

I'm probably more on the conservative side, but I like some tastefully "trick" stuff on our boat. I would think if you did the design work well, that you may find a market for some items.
Maybe a throttle lever "ball" or some cool dash pieces. I know that I'm going to look for something to replace the cheap plastic steering wheel center cover (on our boat, I have a beautiful wood Momo wheel) which launches itself at the driver on any sharp wake crossing. I could also see some carbon pieces upgrading the trim in some spots...
            Just my $0.02...
