Did replacing your start relay solve the problem? I'm having a similar problem now with my 97 Ski with GT-40 and found that the fuel pump was not always running when turning the key from stop to run. I've just replaced my start relay but not water tested yet.
I noticed my old start relay would get very hot to the touch when idling on the trailer after about 10 mins. Should this relay get that hot or is that a sign that it is defective?
