When I was at Correct Craft last week, Kristi Overton Johnson was there, and made a surprising announcement.
As many of you know, she is still the current Women's Slalom World Record Holder. Due to a severe hip abnormality, she was forced to stop skiing competitively in 2002. She had her entire pelvis reconstructed, and decided not to return to competitive skiing after that operation.
She has decided to enter the World Water Ski Championships in Linz, Austria on August 25. It'll be great to see Kristi back on the water again. I wish her the best of luck!
