    Neverenough,

Your wake looks good. I fill my 1100 the same. Too full and it washes out the sweet spot. When it is only my wife and myself we fill the factory belly and starboard tanks, add sac to starboard locker and 450lb sac on the front starboard seat.

Are you putting any weight in the front or center locker?

No ballast in the center ballast tank. Just starboard side. Ill try the center tank tonight.

Ok so we added weight to the center and the wave got shorter and not much longer. Added some pics of the port side with sac. Aint pretty but it works. Not a bad wave just not as good as starboard.. I think it could handle MUCH more weight. The biggest changes are from speed once you have all the weight you can.Click image for larger version

The prop rotation kills the port side. You could add tons of weight and it won't improve much. I am surprised to hear center tank didn't do much for lengthening the wave. Did you try center just on port or on starboard as well?

The first pics are with no weight in the center of of the starboard side. The port side pics are with the center tank about 3/4 full. We tried it on the starboard side too. Just got shorter. Again I'm not real seasoned at this deal.

Me either. Thanks for the info. It's nice to ave a perspective from another 226 owner. I am still in the trial/error phase myself.

What speed? We are getting a very clean face from 10.5 to 11.0

also, in regard to adding weight in the center, have you tried weight in the bow area? It was the addition of weight on the floor of the bow (in my old 211) that produced the longest pocket. I also found that too much weight aft would wash out the wave. Maybe worth a try?

Speeds have been from about 10.3 to 11.8 depending on how many people are in the boat. I'm thinking about a small sac on eiither of the bow side cushions. Seem like the more lean you get the nicer wave you get.

I contacted WaveMakers and they are swapping out one of my 750's for an 1100 so we will see if that helps.

                          more questions about this topic

i bought the 226 for the room and for the right hand turning prop. so, i want to plum in my ballast for surfing and i dont want to lose all my storege. so?????

1st- for the center/bow weight, has anyone had any luck with getting the "center locker sac" W721 in a 226? has anyone tried? i think its the route i want to go but not sure if it will fit. anybody played with this?
-- if i do decide to go "integrated bow sac" W711 does anyone have this piggybacked or are you manually filling it?

2nd- port side- does anyone in a 226 have any extra weight piggybacked in? wakemakers told me that that side would not fit a "wedge sac" W708. does anyone know different? what do you have plummed in if anything?

3rd- starboard- i bought this boat because i surf this side. when you all talk about 1100 lbs on this side... is it additional? or did you use the "tankbuster" 42503 and replace your hard tank with the 1100. seems to me this woud be effective and way cleaner.

so please send the opinions my way. i want to get my boat right over the winter and i want to plum in any additional weight i will be using.

I will be plumbing my 1100 using my port side pump and vent since we don't currently use the boat for wake boarding. The 1100 is on top of the factory hard tank. I am looking to add another pump w/ a quick connect and switch in the bow. The bow connection will fill the 400 lb sac we throw on the seat for surfing. The integrated sac is a waste of money for the 226 since it won't hold much water due to the small storage under the front seat. I have the factory hard center tank and there isn't a way to add more weight in front of it w/o removing it completely. I do carry an additional 400lb sac and Tsunami pump just in case we need to shift weight. Hope this helps.
