    I think the ideal situation would be ZO with a built in magnetic timing system. I mean, all the courses already have magnets anyway. That would give the backup you talked about without having to purchase a secondary timing system.

      I'm sure that's coming if the AWSA keeps the backup timing requirement. I just figured it was integrated already. Like I said, I'm looking forward to getting ski behind the system some day. My local dealer just got a 236 with one, but they don't keep slalom boats on the floor. So no 196s or 206s there with it yet.

        uh the zero off system uses satelites so why would you need a paddle wheel because you are in a river??
        it reads your position/ speed no matter where you are with your boat
        you will notice that the 196/206 boats are coming with 2 antenna for the zo for even greater accuracy.
