    Some wake pics...

kids wear your vests and dont sit on the sun deck..

if you work hard enough, you can get a lil bitty ole wave out of the 220 on both sides... both riders are over 6' just for reference...

Here we are only have three ppl--2 in the boat plus the rider. Only running stock ballast plus about 500 extra in the nose... At one point in the weekend, we had 9 ppl in the boat, plus about 400 lbs more of bags in the rear but forgot to take pics. The rider is at 80 ft, 24.5 mph, and 6' just for perspective.

i am not sure the pics do it justice (especially since we are not slammed), but the wake is as big as anything out there from MC, CC, and Bu, and is only second in steepness to the old 210...

for surfing i am running a 750 in the rear locker that probably gets 75% full. i am also running a 600 in the center locker that probably gets 50% full. and i also keep about 300 of lead in the nose...

nice! now put a vest on before you get hurt and give surfing a bad name and get it banned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they are already banning it in some states and one of their arguments is because people go without vest alot. so use your head and get a vest you never know it might save your life one day!!!!!!!!!!!

while i agree with you that the safest way to participate in any watersport is while wearing a USCG approved PFD, i did make a disclaimer at the top for the non adults to not follow my lead. and i am pretty sure that surfing in the ocean, in a much less controlled environment, with a much more powerful wave has still not gotten a bad name because the surfers chose to ride vestless. as far as banning is concerned, i think you may be referring to teak surfing being banned. other than hearsay, i have not seen any proof that any state has banned wake surfing... to ban wakesurfing because people do it without a vest is akin to banning driving because people dont wear their seatbelts--the argument is worthless. if they were concerned about safety, they would mandate vests, rather than banning the activity.

Currect me if I am wrong but I am assuming that the weight you listed was on top of the stock ballast full.

                      the old 210.

p.s. ive ridden a loaded 220 and the wake shown here was far bigger, nasty bigger. however this was at wake speed of 24mph, that surf wake is the biggest thing i have ever seen

yes. for surfing i completely empty the opposite side.
