you all that barefoot what rope length do you use on a 196's.... I have a 07 196 and just started to foot again trying to get the rope length right....

If you like to cheek out and do all your skiing on the curl go 80. If you ride in the table go longer, 90 or 100.

for wake slalom 75 is probably the best, for tricks you'll need to go longer. too much trough... its really not a barefoot boat.2018 200 Team H6

You want to be right at the edge of clean water meaning that if the water is still bubbly where you are sking the water can become soft. If you or no one in the boat can tell, you can drive the boat at speed and let your line out only, sometime it will just drag nicely behind the boat. You can then tell how much line you need out and just remember your adding 5ft for your handle.
