I have an 06 226 and while out on the lake yesterday the ballast pumps for my port and starboard tanks did not always work. It started with the port pump. It would pump the tank, but not empty. Then the starboard pump did the same thing. After leaving them sit they would work, but not all the time. Never had a problem with the center tank. Also, the pumps were not left running or anything like that to possibly cause damage. I did notice that the pumps felt pretty hot. I checked the fuses and they seemed ok. I am new to this boat so I'm no expert.
