    Extended Plyon on a 196

I have a 196 ski and I'm starting to foot more... I foot behind my friends boat with a tower and its a nice pull but since I don't wakeboard I'm not sure if I need a tower...

What is a good extended plyon? Skylon? Fly High?

I think you may be able feel a slight bit of flex in an extended pylon compared to a tower, but IMHO you'll get all the benefits at a lower cost without drilling holes in your fiberglass. You can also easily take down the pylon and put on a boat cover without holes which may be a huge benefit depending on how you store your boat.

      Extended Pylon

I used this Skylon pole on my previous 196, but purchased a 211 two years ago and no longer have any need for it. $125

I've been using the flyhigh on mine for 4 years, have no complaints.
