Sorry man.....I was not trying to rip on your tower. Your tower is crap load cooler than the one on this boat. It's a boxier design than the newer flight control but the older one would still looks a lot better than what I have now.

I'm using Fly High V-drive sacs partially filled in the back, and nothing up front for now until I plum everything in over the winter (hopefully)

the Newdimensions tower looks great on these boats, factory look, and during the winter they usually run a 15% off sale, so look for that, I hope to get one myself. or if your interested, I'll sell you my Monster Tower that fits this boat.

Jared, just being funny, I am not that fond of my tower either, just don't see a need to spend the money and do all the remounting and gelcoat work.

Jared, I spoke with my buddy and he does not want to sell his tower, sorry. If you do buy that boat an replace the tower I would maybe be interested in your board racks.

I have a Monstertower on my '93 Barefoot Nautique. Go to Monstertower.com and you can see how your boat would look with one on it. I know others have their preferences, but I really like mine, it looks great, and it's solid as a rock. By the way, I'm no great ripper or shreader, but I think the BFN and Nautique Excel's put out a pretty good wake. Just my opinion. (Yea, that tower is butt ugly Yellow_Flash_Colorz: .....sorry)

think about it the boat was designed for footing. the lips of the wake are rolled over the thing is big but soft. my friend has one hes a fottin machine but wakeboarding behind it sucks. if you cant tell the difference between a wakebaord boat wake and the barefoot naut. then buy it i dont care but anybody that mainly boards should be able to tell the difference. im in his all the time and im telling you the wake is subpar for wakeboarding. yes i can wakeboard behind a bass boat but the wake sux yes it makes a wake but it will not give you the lift a real wakeboard boat will you have to understand that. have you ever been behind the barefoot naut. on a wakeboard? i think your in luv with the deal not really lookng at the best boat for your needs wich is fine its your money but trying to tell me you wakeboard and you think buying a barefoot boat is the best idea is rubish like saying yes mr car sales man i have a family of 5 i think we will take that corvette thats a great deal. and as others have said soon the market will be full of boats that fit your NEEDS and your budget.

Boatech, you are just plain wrong here. I owned one for 5 years. Stand (fly) behind it all the way. Good luck getting a SAN anywhere near that price for years to come. The V-drive BFN is the best early 90's "wakeboard boat" out there. Hands down.

think about it......, the Super Sport (future Super Air) was designed for a family style ski boat.......

BigRob, how much gelcoat work do I have to do? My biggest hangup is that it will not be perfect when done, which it is now.

Well I picked up the boat this weekend.....I'm officially a first time nautique owner. I've got 1300 lbs. of ballast, tower lights and an onboard battery charger on the way.....next stop, new tower, PP and maybe custom paint. Thanks for all the help and advice along the way.
