No tow hooks on the back. The back lift thing says dont tow a boat from it? So if someone is stranded do I just have to leave them there?

RE: Tow w/ a 07 210?
It's a wake boat not a tow boat - tell them to call sea tow (it will cost them)- better yet get a membership and they will come when they call2006 SANTE 210 (Pending Sale)

If someone is stranded, you render aid. It might be you who is broke down next time. I believe here in Oregon, you are required to render reasonable aid. Ask your dealer how you should tow another boat, and what the limits on towing should be.

RE: Tow w/ a 07 210?
Just did some checking of local laws and can not find anything requiring a person to offer tow assistance with a boat not designed for it - check out seatow.com - it's $119 for a year membership for lakes - best money I've spent and never used - but without it I would have to rely on someone to tie off and tow me in - thanks for the help but I'll call those that have the proper equipment for towing - the kind folks at CC also have no recommendations as far as towing - it is at your own risk according to them2006 SANTE 210 (Pending Sale)

RE: Tow w/ a 07 210?
Warning label on the tow pylon "This water ski tow pylon should be used for towable water sports devices only. Do not use the pylon in other ways, such as parasailing, kite flying, or towing other boats, etc. ..." Label on tower " Do not tow more than two persons at one time from this tow tower. The tow tower should only be used for waterskis, wakeboards, or recreational towables and not for parasailing, kite flying, or towing other boats, etc. ..."2006 SANTE 210 (Pending Sale)

RE: Tow w/ a 07 210?
You can tow a boat from just about any connection point on your boat with reasonable care and attention.
Don't go fast, and have a person ready to release the line by untieing or cutting if needed.
I sure am glad that not every one on the lake has the same attitude as AuMDLST.

RE: Tow w/ a 07 210?
Thanks ag4ever, I recently needed a tow and a neighbor towed me from her pylon... with her ski rope. I understand its not politically correct, but we went really slow, I could have held the rope with my hand the whole time (maybe that's a safe way to do it). I sure am glad she helped or I would have been stuck in the dark. Mind you, the water was perfectly calm, I probably wouldn't do it if conditions were really harsh. The tower on an 07 210 looks pretty sturdy to me.

RE: are you kidding me
I'm sorry you have that impression of me ag4ever - I have helped several people out on the lake when others have just passed by - the point of my discussion was that the boats/boat I own is not a tow vehicle and was never intended for that purpose as with most the boats on the water I visit and enjoy. I am not a person that chooses to invite my problems upon others out enjoying the day with family. That is the reason I choose to have the availability of seatow - these boats we own are not perfect machines and breakdown occasionally - I choose to have backup rather than hope someone is nice enough to stop by and ask if I am in need of assistance - You can bet that if I see an inboard or any other boat that looks to be in distress I am one of the first to respond to their needs - for the money invested in pleasure boating with my family - the seatow yearly agreement is just another piece of insurance to guarantee my family is not stranded - but Thank You for your kind response to someone you do not know - by the way when I am driving and my wife is watching out for 4 children on the boat I do not have the opportunity to have a spotter watching the tow line in case it needs to be cut before damage or injury takes place2006 SANTE 210 (Pending Sale)
