Need some help about a possible buy?

I'm currently looking at a 2001 super air for sale. The only problem is that the boat has the ski pylon in the middle. I thought they stopped putting the ski pylon in the middle of the boat in 2000? Does anyone know if this is the case? I looked at the catalogs, and it shows that the 2000 and 2001 models do not have the ski pylon in the middle. in my 1995 super sport i went to a office store and got a black metal desk plug to put in the pylon hole, worked great.

Have him email you the hull number. Have a dealer check it and it should tell you. Like the vin on a car right?

thats a 2000 if im not mistaken....rear hatch is one piece

That boat looks just like mine - colors and everything - and my boat is a 2000
Like Roddyj said the one piece rear hatch was switched to a 3 piece for 2001. Unless this is maybe a early production 2001 (don't even know if there is such a thing) you are looking at a 2000 SAN, I think.
