Uphosltery - how much does it cost?

I'm looking at getting a 2001 Air 196 that needs new uphosltery. How much does it usually cost to do an entire boat? How much is carpet? What if you don't use Nautique vinyl?

How much at the 01 Air decals, and how hard are they to redo?

RE: Uphosltery - how much does it cost?

you mean the air 196 that is on this site and others?

to do the carpet as well is a big job. at least properly.

if you want to redo the skins you are looking at $2000-$3000 from what I see. at the price that boat is at you are better off buying something for 18000-20k that has been kept in better shape. JMO

Yeah, but other Air's sell for 25k. 18k would get you like a 97

its not an "air" its a SNOB with air graphics and a tower. know what you're buying. great boats, but **** if its been beaten on.

you can get one for 18-20k. a 98 or 99 that has been taken care of will not only ski the same, but it will cost you less in the long run and the resale will be higher too.

if I was in the market this is what I would be all over. 98 SNOB, with 66 hrs.... Little high on the price at 21,950 but that's a brand new boat.

              1) The interior is what you can see, what else might be wrong
              2) He is trying to sell it as an Air (it’s not) can you trust this guy.
              3) The fact that it has a galvanized trailer usually indicates it's been in saltwater. Do you really thing the person that trashed the interior spent time flushing the motor each time he came home from the bay.

not true. its is an AIR 196. same boat as a SNOB, but the air package was a factory option. he is not trying to sell it as anything that it isn't.

you gotta be careful with prices like that though. sometimes things are too good to be true.
