I'll take some pictures. Hard to describe the latches, but they screw onto the seat base then attach to a plate screwed to the floor.

Adrian, her are a couple of pictures of the latch. They don't exactly show how the mechanism words, but it is basically a hook and loop that ratchets tight. Hope this helps.
