    J.D. Power "Awards"

J.D. Power "awards" mean squat. For one, they may survay 200 out of 1-2-3-4-5,000 that actually purchased brand x boat. Then, to even use the symbol or the "award" in brand x's advertising..brand x must pay tens of thousands of dollars, sometimes 6 figures..depending on the brand. In essence, the "awards" are bought and sold.

The magazines (whatever magazine it may be) actually TAKE THE BOAT OUT ON THE WATER, and USE THE BOAT. They are not bought, or finacially persuaded..as is J.D. Power. They give a non-biased opinion based on performance, quality, value, and engineering.

Remember folks, there is a reason that Malibu, MC, Skiers Choice all put out double and triple the number of units than does CC. Reason ?? More people want them than CC's. Better value, dealers, product, etc. Chew on that please, and know what you are saying before you reply. Only the facts please. And by the way, the Eagle Rep was a friend due to many, many years of being one of his dealers. You aren't as smart as you think you are my friend.

What is your point to your statement? If this is a general statement, you've lost me. I'm hoping this is directed at someone or some comment. Please explain!

this looks to me like wakeslave trying to continue a topic that he was previously locked out of. I move that Wakeslave be banned from the site if behavior like this continues.

I imagine you do love your customers: if you go off on them like you did here, they must be your family. Congrats on the PowerBoat Mag award, but the one I like is the J.D. Power Customer Satisfaction #1 for two years running - Nobody has to advertise to be eligible for that one.
Is what your trying to say related to this in some way or another?? I think so....

P.S. Regarding the ban, fine by me... I think this site and members of it has taken enough insults from him...

And why should anyone apologize for not believing you, even if you are right? I wouldn't be sorry for believing something that turned out to be false, makes no sense.

Hollywoood, I agree about apologizing... as I was trying to say in the other thread that this seems to be the sequel to...

Jeff locks the previous trailer thread so Wakeslave jumps over here to try and ruffle a few more feathers. That's the point 99ProAir. Wakeslave, no one hates you or thinks less of you because you bought a Bu. Seems like you need to come to grips with it, though. Ever since you bought your boat--after previously owing a CC--you've been trolling for a fight here. Why the chip on your shoulder? You act as though boat ownership is a competition. Last time I checked owning a boat was for fun. And, this site, just like the MBO site, is for sharing enthusiasm and information.

BTW, I don't think looking at sales volume is any indication of quality. There's a heck of alot more GM cars than Mercedes on the road. No one would presume to argue that GM puts out a better product than Mercedes. Not that GM puts out a bad product--don't want to start another war.

Malibu came in a close second on the Customer Satisfaction survey, so there may be some truth to what Wakeslave is saying....

That was nice! I just promised Jeff I'd be nice!

Bayliner also builds more boats than Correct Craft.

I like all kinds of boats. The boat I had before my SV-211 was a MC Prostar 190. I loved that boat and I had many, many fun hours on it. I am all for banning the wakeslave, he only wants to stir the pot.

My family has to sell a Yamaha SUV1200 Jetski to get this Nautique! It may seem like a now brainer but selling that thing is hard! Theres a lot of boats out there that are fun and great that aren't CC's or MC's or BUs... I'm running out of time to jet ski next to the QM2 in the Hudson!!! (Wonder what the wake is like behind one of those? :lol
