    90 Sport - Glass floor?

Just picked up a 90 Sport... I usually check out wood floors with a fine tooth comb but didn't pay this one much attention thinking it was glass. Well, found a couple of soft spots around the driver's seat today. :-( Is it truly a glass floor? If so would soft spots indicate that the glass has cracked?

There is plywood, or in many cases, 1 X6" planks under the front seats. There is fiberglass over the top of the wood. The wood is there to provide a solid base to screw down the seats, etc. If you have soft spots, you have some rot, or some water intrusion. BKH

BKH is right on. There is wood in the floor between the engine and battery box in my boat- so yours will be very similar. Soft spots = rot. I had a soft spot by the observer's seat, and this is what it looked like underneath. The bad news is that its very possible that the rot has spread to the wood stringer(s).
