I am looking at getting a Barefoot boom on my 2007 SV211 and I have no idea what to get. Is there a trick to installing one? There is not much of the Pylon sticking out of the boat to attach it. Let me know if you have any info.

RE: 211 barefoot boom
yep, i have teh same one and mounted the brackets in the same locations, but on the port side. in the beginning i was leary about how much work it took, but now that we are use to it, no prob. in shallow water, with a helper, takes about 4-5 minutes, complete setup. what i dont like is the one bracket sticks out about 2" from the side rail, and hits my boathouse peir if i am not paying attention or get blown to it. very well constructed. fits nicely under theport seat too. we use it as much as a foot boom as we use it to train beginner skiers, wakeboarders, etc.

RE: 211 barefoot boom
i have installed the BI tower booms as well. its a chore but once its done it is a fine boom. it aint cheap but you get what you pay for. also on one of them they sent me had the wrong clamp brackets. called them up and they bent over backwards to get me the right stuff fast. get one you will love it. you will hate putting it up but once its up you will love it.
