    2002 SANTE--what to look for....

I am going to check out a 2002 SANTE this week. Is there anything in particular about this boat that I should look out for? Give me your tips on what to pull, what to shake and where to kick...I dont want to make any mistakes...

Also, what do you think is a fair price for this boat, assuming it is in good condition? The owner says it is in "showroom" condition...

Make sure that you can get the remainder of the 5 year warranty and check to see if the maintenance is up to par. You can check the oil to see how clean or dirty it is. Other than that, take a look at the overall condition of the boat. As far as price, it will somewhat depend on your location. You can look at the nada guides online to get a general idea.

The 5 year bumper-bumper warranty is only good for the first owner and is NOT transferable.
The hull and engine warranty are transferable for a fee.

        Midohio,
Is that just for the 02? I thought the remainder of the warranty was transferable to the second owner as long as it was within the first five years of the boat itself.

2002 and 2003. In 2004 you can transfer the 5 year warranty. That is what Correct Craft has told me and I have asked them more than once because it keeps coming up in discussions. Eric
