I've got an 06' 210 and I have an issue with water shooting up under the rub rail and into the boat. I've notice water mysteriously appear inside my boat several times but could never really figure out where it was coming from. This weekend I noticed a bunch of water on the carpet attached to the inside of the hull. I also noticed a bunch of water on the wiring. I thought it might be coming in from the screw holes on the rub rail but that was not the case. I had my buddy bring the boat up to speed and make a hard turn and I watched the water start gushing in and over the lip of where the top deck and the hull are joined beneath the rub rail. Anybody have this problem? It's actually happening on both sides. I'm wondering if this is a serious problem where the top and bottom deck haven't been fused correctly. The thing that scares me is that this could be an even bigger problem of structural integrity issues.

RE: Water thru the rub rail
They're together fine, its just that the bead of silicone, 5200, etc. isnt there, or didn't seat right. Glad that I've got a 29 year old boat & it has the same problems as a 1 year old boat. sorry, but i dont think it's structural, just a little water on the carpet...

RE: Water thru the rub rail
I have heard of a couple of other boats having this problem. Once the deck and hull are resealed, the problem is gone. Have the dealer take care of it under warranty.I own and operate Silver Cove Marine, which is an inboard boat restoration, service, and sales facility located in Mooresville, North Carolina. We specializes in Nautiques and Correct Crafts, and also provide general service for Nautiques fifteen years old and older.

Water thru the rub rail
I have an 2007 SV211. We were surfing on the river, boat maybe two months old, and we started taking on water. The boat almost sank, freaked out the kids. Detailed inspection found a 24' gap in the back of the boat that did not have the silicone joining the deck to the hull. You need to get this issue resolved immediately at the dealership under warranty. I would also inform Correct Craft.

RE: Water thru the rub rail
I have an 06 210 as well that was leaking due to the same reason - it was noticed during the water test before delivery and taken care of - seems to be somewhat of a common issue (more or less noticeable depending on location with respect to water contact) but when installing a complete top deck over the hull I can understand where the bead of sealant could be disturbed to the point of no longer making a perfect seal.2006 SANTE 210 (Pending Sale)

I had somewhat the same issue with my 07 210. My boat had 1/2 inch to 3/4 in gaps in the back under the rub rail. I could see the screws that bolted the top deck to the hull. Run your hand along the bottom of the rub rail and check for gaps. My 07 had to get shipped to MWCC and then back to the factory to get repaired. Hopefully it is just the sealent issue in your case but you may want to double check for the gaps. If it does have gaps the top deck may not have been attached to the hull correctly and you definatley want to get CC involved if that is the issue. They took care of may 07 no questions asked. I was very worried when I found out about it but everything worked out in the end.Current: 08 Super Air 210 Team
