Will it Freeze??

The weatherman is predicting low temps of mid-20's for the next 2 nights where my boat is. I have not yet winterized however it is inside of a 15X35 mini-warehouse space.

Does anyone have experience with warehouse storage? Do I need to make a bee-line up there and figure out winterization for my boat?

Second what G-man said. The downside would make it worth the trip were it me. Maybe it wouldn't get cold enough under the box to freeze the block, but there's always the water in the pump housing and transmission cooler to think about.

It doesn't take much more than 20 minutes to pull 5 plugs and one hose. Go do it.

At least put a drop light in there or something.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Made a bee-line to Blue Ridge last night and did in fact put a drop light with a 60 watt bulb under the motor and propped open the motor box by about 4 inches.

Winterizing to take place next weekend.

I was actually able to sync up with the original mechanic who has babied this boat since new (1992 Ski) and he's meeting me up there next week. We're going to take her out for one last ride on the water so we can get the oil heated up for a change as well. He instructed me to put the lamp under there and said she'd be fine. I along with each of you can sleep well now.
