Thanks everyone for all your feed back!! Wakecrashin..Ended up runnin with the Excal, by the time i had made up my mind to run with the zr6 my boat was too far into the production process to change. Have used the $$ difference to add a power prop, full throttle package, pop up pylon, spinners etc etc. Boat is due early Feb, can't wait to get it on the water!

You won`t be disapointed with excal if this is anything to go by last year we used a acme 1287 13.5 x14.25 we ran a couple of comps had 3x 250 fatties full ballast and about 10 people in the boat ran like a dream all day

I see a lot the excal versus ZR6 discussion.

        I have a question though:
If you could have the excal or a GT40, which would you take?

        I own a 98 with a GT40 and I'm not changing anytime soon, I'm just curious.

you know, my buddy has a 06 220 TE with everything and the ZR6 is a alcoholic on gas man, 160 bucks and still not full!!! its also a big in acceleration compared to my ski nautique GT-40, still a beautiful boat, just pretty bad on gas
