What do those of you do who have towers on your boats but also put it under a canopy? How is your setup? Do you have to put the tower down everytime; is your canopy extended higher so you don't have to; or what about a roof system? I am looking to put in a new dock and lift. Ideas and feedback appreciated.

We have a Shore Station 4000# lift and the canopy it set at its max. height. The tower just clears it by a few inches when enetering or leaving the lift. When it is under the canopy, I can raise it another 12-14". When we are using the boat I just leave the tower up and only raise it 12"-14" out of the water. However, when we leave for the weekend, I lower the tower and completely raise the boat on the lift.
