Help with letter type of decal

Hi guys,

I'm going to customize my '89 SN 2001 in februari and march.
I have a friend who owns a sign printing company.
I would like to put new stickers (3D) on my boat and he will make them for me. I was wondering if any of you could tell me what the type of letter is on these boats?

The font is owned by Correct Craft and is copyrighted. Any company not affiliated with Correct Craft is breaking the law by selling the lettering.

No problem Jeff. I already went to my CC Dealer here in Belgium, and he will order the Logo shown on the transom.
But, I am the pilot of a waterski club (see url in my profile). And I would love to call my boat "Maasmasters Nautique", as it will be the new towboat for our showteam. So I would like to put this name on both sides of the boat. The question is if it is possible to order this name through official instances, or if it is allowed to make them in a type of letter that is similar...

Lost letters

How do owners in the USA solve the lost or dammaged letters issue.
Order a full logo each time?

I have two 3D chrome/clear-plastic letters damaged on my SAN2003 and want those to replace.

Dealer tells me, only a full set is possible. Is this true.

Letter

Dear Kristof,

On the Internet you can find free lettertype libarys. Just put one in your windows font libary and it works. I did it a few years ago for a unique billboard letter. There are hunderds of letter types which are not in your windows, but you can easily find and implement it in your windows.
For shure you can find a letter which comes 99% close to the CC letter. Just an evening of surfing the internet.

For OEM decals, that is my understanding of what is available. All or nothing.

The problem for us Europeans is that if we want some new decals, they are very expensieve due to high shipment costs.
My dealer said he will let the decals come over when he has enough parts and a new boat to order, so he brings the whole lot over in a container, wich makes it cheaper.
In Belgium, we do not have that many CC's eh...
For this reason, I will either have to wait a long time fore my decals or pay an exhuberant price for them... :|

I had some OEM decals from my old MC that I sold to a guy in France. Shipping would've been $100 USD and obviously the package didn't weigh much. We ended up overnighting it to a friend of his in Washington that was flying over the next day. But you're right. The shipping costs are ridiculous.

I have a 90 Sport Nautique and this summer I stripped off all the graphics and buffed the gelcoat real good. There are still some shadow marks from the old lettering but its really faint. What do you guys think about the 2002-2003 super air graphic. yay or nay

I say nay, the original look always seems to stand the test of time.

If you want to get rid of the shadows, try wetsanding, then buff again.

any decent graphic artist would be able to replicate what you want, would look real nice if you had a custom drip graphic (domednumbers.com style). i certainly wouldn't be worried about copyright, your not profiting from the logo like all the cheapo stickers u can get on ebay...

Thanks a lot you guys. You are a big help to me.
Now I can go to my buddy and put him at work and name my boat after our skiclub.
When finished, I'll post pictures... Look out for the "Maasmasters Nautique"!!!

I've used a font, made by my buddy whos' owned a sign shop for many years, that looks just like that. It's VERY widely used in the business world, GM for starters.

It goes by several names such as,
1.BoostSSI
2.SerpentineDBol
