Nautique Trailers

Can anybody tell me who makes the nautique traliers. I live in Australia and am after a set of Stainless teardrop guards. We do not have traliers like yours out here.

Correct Craft does not make trailers. There are several trailer makers here in the US that build trailers that fit Nautiques.

Ramlin, Dorsey, Eagle, DHM, Zieman, Sport Boat are a few of the manufacturers of trailers
that fit Nautiques. BKH

The dealer and buyer can choose from several. Most Nautique trailers come from Ramlin. They are located about 15 miles from CC in Orlando. As bk mentioned above, there are many others.

i would have a hard time recommending ram-lin. love my boat, hate my trailer. several issues with it...

I just ordered my fourth Ram-Lin. I haven't had any trouble with mine, but I have never owned anything else either...

I have a White Tandem Axle Eagle with my 210, and thinking of ordering a Ram-lin and selling the Eagle. The 2000 SAN my friend had came w/ a Ram-lin and I loved it. I'm not as fond of the Eagle, although it does carry the weight of the boat real nice.. just my opinion.

Most Nautique trailers come from Ramlin.

I don't know if this is true or not. I do know that a lot of Nautiques are sold in California, and to my knowledge, none of the dealers use Ramlin. I don't believe
Ramlin is sold on the West Coast.

Youre right BKH- you dont see as many Ramlins in TX or on the west coast. Theyre a common option for boats on the east coast, though. I believe Ramlin was spun off when CC stopped building trailers around '95. I know our '92 CC trailer and '03 Ramlin are nearly identical- only the modern details distinguish them (folding tongue, winch, etc). Regardless, they do have that look of a classic Correct Craft trailer.

I was told that Ramlin bought the original CC trailer design. True though, most CC trailers around here are Dorseys manufactured in Oklahoma. That's what mine is. The folks at Dorsey are great to deal with.

I assume you have an easytow trailer? Easytow do have two (2) s/s guard options that may not be exactly what you are after but could be close...

I just ordered my fourth Ram-Lin. I haven't had any trouble with mine, but I have never owned anything else either...

i am probably just an odd instance but here have been my issues (most of them are related to one central problem), on a trailer that is now 1 yr, 1.5 months old:

1) tongue jack broke
2) coupler lock (inside the tongue) has somehow bent, making it nearly impossible to get on/off the ball
3) right rear wheel caliper blew (nothing like losing your trailer brakes on a 6k lb load)
4) coupler dampner blew (makes the trailer jerk when taking off)
5) buddy bearing flew off

the next issues are all related to what i perceive to be a design flaw which is the axles are not centered under the correct spot on the boat:
5) the trailer is so tongue heavy it makes an F250 squat like it has 1500 lbs of tongue weight. it will make a 1/2 ton truck almost bottom out.
6) the LED light bar on a crossmember under the boat broke off because we have to POWER unload the boat (reverse prop wash) no matter how steep the ramp or how far we back in
7) because it is so unbalanced, the tail wags the dog and absolutely kills my motivation to tow more than 10 miles.

for the record, i have owned several boats, so even though i am prone to being an idiot, my past experience should rule that hypothesis out. the best trailer i have had was boatmate under a moomba...you could try loading that thing from the side at full throttle with you eyes closed at night while simultaneously attempting a power turn and it would always load perfectly.

here is the best part: i have called ram lin several times for help. have given them my trailer VIN, etc. even though i offered to buy replacement parts in order to avoid the down time of warrantying the boat at the dealership, i was given the run around and ultimately told "no."

love my 220 and wouldnt trade it for anything other than a 220 with a differnt trailer...
